This page documents the consent flow on pitchsms.com for carrier review and A2P 10DLC verification. It is publicly accessible and contains no login or paywall.
1. Where opt-in is collected
Pitch collects SMS consent through a web-form opt-in: a clearly labeled, unchecked checkbox embedded in the signup form on pitchsms.com. The same checkbox pattern is used on both the fan signup form and the creator signup form. The user must affirmatively check the box before any SMS is sent — the box is never pre-selected and consent is not bundled with any other agreement.
2. What the user sees
The block below is a faithful reproduction of the consent UI as it appears on the live signup form:

I agree to receive SMS text messages from Pitch at the mobile number I provided. By texting a creator through Pitch, I am initiating the conversation and consenting to receive that creator's reply at my mobile number, plus a one-time verification code at signup and any account-security alerts. Receipts and message history live inside the Pitch app — Pitch does not auto-text receipts after every message. Message frequency depends on how many creators I text and how often they reply. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
By checking this box I confirm I am the subscriber/account holder of the mobile number above and I am at least 18 years old. I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Unchecked by defaultThe user must affirmatively click the box. It is never pre-selected.
Standalone consentThe checkbox covers SMS specifically and is separate from the Terms/Privacy agreement.

3. Step-by-step opt-in flow
1
Visit pitchsms.com
User lands on the public site and chooses "Message" (fan) or "Creators" to begin signup.
2
Fill in details
User enters name, email, password, mobile number, and payment method.
3
Check consent box
User affirmatively checks the SMS consent checkbox. This is required — the form will not submit otherwise.
4
Verify number
A one-time verification code is sent only after consent has been captured. The user enters the code to complete signup.
4. Sample messages users will receive
Pitch only sends SMS that the recipient has consented to receive. There are no marketing or promotional messages, no automated billing receipts after every charge (those live in the Pitch app), and creators cannot initiate texts to fans — they can only reply to fans who have texted them first.
Verification (sent to fan and creator at signup, once)
Pitch: Your verification code is 472193. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.
Creator reply to fan (the fan texted first)
[Creator's reply text appears here, sent through the creator's Pitch number to the fan who initiated the conversation. The fan only receives this because they texted the creator first through the platform.]
Account-security alert (rare; only on suspicious login or password change)
Pitch: A new sign-in to your account was detected. If this wasn't you, change your password at pitchsms.com. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
STOP confirmation (auto-reply)
You are unsubscribed from Pitch. No more messages will be sent. Reply START to resubscribe.
HELP auto-reply
Pitch: Paid SMS platform. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Support: pitchsms@gmail.com
What lives in the app, not in SMS: billing receipts after each paid message, full message history, creator earnings, weekly payout amounts and dates, fan account balance, creator profile management. Users see all of this when they sign in to pitchsms.com.
